Two companies of MARPOSS group, MG and KERN, produce gauges by attributes.
The main characteristic of these gauges is the fact that the result of the measurement is not a numerical value but a “good/scrap” status.
Typical examples are the go - no go fixed gauges (smooth, threaded, splined) and the gauging fixtures.
MARPOSS, both directly and through some of its controlled companies, like Artis, Brankamp, Control Gaging and Dittel, offers a very wide range of solutions for measuring and checking the machining process directly on machine tool in order to increase its flexibility, productivity, quality level and to reduce the production costs: this applies not only to new machines, but also in case of retrofit or upgrade of old machines.
